mōviHealth™, a product developed by Confluent Health Innovations, is an omnichannel solution for musculoskeletal care that uses a combination of evidence-based care, digital delivery, and integration with a traditional clinic setting, to support employers, self-insureds, or payers with managing musculoskeletal spend for their members. Members are able to access the program through the mōviHealth platform, where they have the option of selecting virtual, in-person, or hybrid care.

Expanding mōviHealth’s Platform Offering

mōviHealth has expanded its business model to offer more flexible and customizable services. These include an expansion of their customer base beyond just employer contracts. This effort allows mōviHealth to serve a wider range of clients, with new offerings, tailored pricing, and flexible scheduling options. These new operating models will help mōviHealth meet the diverse needs of their customer base along with the addition of their user-friendly interface.

Scheduler Enhancements

A major component of mōviHealth working with us on a phase 2 was to maximize flexibility with their scheduling system. We utilized Salesforce Scheduler and custom configurations, so that mōviHealth can now offer:

  • Customizable Scheduling Options: Users can now select different scheduling preferences and view associated costs based on their specific plan or employer contract.
  • Easier Adjustments: Administrators can update the scheduler without requiring developer support, allowing for modifications based on current business needs.
  • Virtual and In-Person Appointment Booking: Patients can easily schedule both virtual and in-clinic visits through the same platform.

Efficient Intake Process

To improve the efficiency of patient onboarding, mōviHealth refined its intake process by placing the required medical history questions at the beginning of the workflow. The registration questionnaire was also shortened to make it easier for patients to sign up and schedule care. These updates create a smoother user experience.

On the Provider side, physical therapists and care coordinators are now able to access patient histories upfront to facilitate effective treatment planning.

Automated Discharge of Unresponsive Patients:

The mōviHealth team is able to focus their energy on engaged patients. We helped them:

  • Automatically Move Inactive Patients to Dormant Status: After 30 days of inactivity, patients are flagged as dormant to prevent outdated records in the system.
  • Notify Providers of Patient Discharges: Alerts are sent to providers when a patient is discharged, ensuring that care plans remain current and that re-engagement efforts can be initiated if necessary.
